The high quality Brogdon Avocado is black, smooth skinned and weighs about 8 to 12 ounces. The pulp is firm and has a delicious nutty flavor. This medium sized slender tree is cold tolerant to 22 degrees and produces July through September. The trees generally set fruit the third year. This tree prefers full sun, adequate moisture and good drainage.
