The Grumichama Cherry is purplish-black in color, with a white, sweet, melting flesh. You will often notice this cherry producing small clusters of fruit. It is very tasty and delicious when eaten fresh, also in jelly or stewed. It makes a beautiful hedge and will grow to 6 feet. A favorite at Jene's Tropicals. Easily grown in containers and is self fruitful.
