The incredible Jakfruit can produce monster sized fruits that can weigh up to 40 lbs! The fruit slightly softens and turns yellow when ripe. You will also notice the most wonderful fruity aroma! The firm yellow-orange pulp tastes like a combination of pineapples and bananas. This fruit is also a great conversation piece. This moderate growing tree has large dark green leaves and will add a tropical touch to any landscape. Jakfruit is nearly tropical and needs consistent temperatures above 60 degrees to do well but can handle temps as low as 45. Our variety offered is NS-1 and it is firm fleshed when ripe. Fruits can weight up to 40 lbs.
